How do you recreate the design at bottom of jeans?

I've managed to hem my pants and I would like to know how to recreate the original design that all jeans have on the bottom. I have tried sand paper but that doesn't work. Its hard to find a website that has this information. Thanks in advance.

How do you recreate the design at bottom of jeans?
Scissore, microplane, carrot peeler, bleach, drag them from the car. Next time just fold up as much ayou need and sew the excess right next to the original hem. That's how The Buckle does it.
Reply:umm just buy new jeans with that design! so much easier
Reply:buy a pair of jeans that fits your height.... that usually works.... you can never recreate the bottom of jeans once you hem them.
