Where can I find good inspiration for graphic design?

I've seen deviantart, but that's more about illustrations, and the creative magazines require subscription to see their websites. are there any good spots for just good old fashioned graphic design?

Where can I find good inspiration for graphic design?
it all depends on what your needing it for. I love to get the college magazines and check them out because they have a lot of things or I just go for a road trip and see what I find in a different surrounding than what I'm used to.

hope you find what your looking for =)

Reply:Your head. Sit down, take a break with no mess around you and with a piece of paper and a pencil, just draw what you think. You will get inspiration from there.

Graphic design - you can look at ANY magazine for graphic design. Look at any ads, layouts, fonts used, how the photo's were used, any special effects added, (like big heads, stretched bodies, etc.) Good luck
Reply:HD Video Games, are awesome!!!
Reply:Find some photos... a random collection.... as many as you like. Jumble them all up and pick two at random. Fuse the concepts of those two images into one abstract idea... and voila... you've got a theme.

If you don't like it... try again... different photos...

If you want random photos then I'd recommend going to http://tinypic.com and just browsing through pictures there... They're as random as you get... just about.

Then again... you might want to toy around with some programs like Apophysis (google it) to see what it produces, and you might be inspired to do something with one of the images it comes up with.
Reply:what i did for inspiration when i was in school for graphic design was i just went to the book store, barns or boarders, and just looked the books for graphic design. it really helped a lot..there are tons of books and also magazines that you can look into, and they have really good ones out there too. you just have to know, you're not copying someone else's work, just taking ideas and making it your own. good luck~!

But I think the best inspiration usually comes from the things that are right around you (e.g. the color of a leaf, a pattern on someone's shirt, textures, etc.). There's no need to limit your inspiration to websites and magazines--it's everywhere.
Reply:Legendaryfrog.com then go to movies and watch all of them trust me you willl come up with something
Reply:It sounds like youw ant to see others work. Don't try to make yours look like other peoples. Were do you think they got their ideas from? Everywere around you is wre you should look. Constantly look at everything and think how can I make a design that relates to what you see.

Reply:Intend to find inspiration for graphic design, act as though you already have inspiration or that you find it regularly, simply believe it then before you go to sleep each night relax your mind and think about things that could possibly work for the graphic design, you'll be amazed with what you find in eventuality simply from believe and acting as though you regularly get inspiration that you enjoy and intending to get it, not to mention taking the actions aligning yourself with what you want.
Reply:Try your imagination. There is plenty of deviant ideas in that head of yors.
