What are the consequences of changing the design of my registered trademark?

I have a my company logo registered as a trademark in several countries. In some countries it is still pending.

If I wanted to change the logo design, what are the consequences for my trademark filing?

Some people have said that it will restart the process, so registered trademarks will again be pending. And trademarks that were pending will be reset, so it's like filing a new application. Can anyone give a clear answer on this?

What are the consequences of changing the design of my registered trademark?
You will be well advised to restart the paperwork, along with the repayment of fees, for registering your trademark. Of course, you will have to resubmit the necessary samples of your trademark.
Reply:Your not changing it, your creating a new one, and its back to square one....
Reply:You have begun the copyright process for a specific design. If you change it (even slightly), it is no longer the original design.

You can continue the process for the original design if you wish, but the new one is a new one.
